FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE By: Southern Ontario Open Burlington ON - Heading into it's third year, the Southern Ontario Open (SOO) remains as the province's only Open Golf Championship to both professional and elite amateur golfers. Though much excitement has transpired in the first two years of the Championship, Mercedes-Benz Burlington wishes to add some excitement of their own. In the previous two years of the tournament there has only been one hole-in-one recorded. In 2012, Eric Ross aced the 9th hole with a four iron in the final round en route to winning the Inaugural Championship. This year every registered player will have a chance on Saturday July 26th to make the first hole-in-one and walk away with a new Mercedes-Benz. Though the hole has yet to be dertermined, the front runners are the 185 yard 11th hole or the ever tough 214 yard 9th hole. Mercedes-Benz Burlington will have vehicles displayed on site throughout the entire week. Players and spectators are welcome to take a look and even set up a test drive appointment. Catch all the action from the Southern Ontario Open by viewing the live scoring page HERE. Play begins 7:30am Thursday July 24th at Hidden Lake Golf Club in Burlington.
