 Dave Levesque (photo: GolfCanada) Burlington (ON) - Hidden Lake Golf Club (New Course) in Burlington (ON) will once again play host to the upcoming Southern Ontario Open July 26-29. This will be the fifth playing of the Championship and this year's edition is shaping up to be one of the strongest fields in recent years.
With the RBC Canadian Open being contested not far down the road in Oakville (ON), the Southern Ontario Open saw it's field bolstered as both Dave Levesque from Ste-Catherine (QC) and Branson Ferrier from Barrie (ON) have committed to play at Hidden Lake Golf Club. Levesque comes into the Southern Ontario Open as the #1 ranked player in the PGA of Canada rankings, a position that earned him a spot in the Canadian Open field. Ferrier who recently turned professional and played his first event professionally on June 2, earned his ticket to the Canadian Open field by winning the Regional Qualifier at King's Forest Golf Course in Hamilton (ON). |
